The condition of fashion is simple. if something lacks depth and useful information, it's fashion. Facebook seems to has neither of them. Someone may say it provides information. But that information is based on the data which their friends or companies provide one-sidedly. The data we have received were to be scattered on Facebook like broadcasting, like subscribing to a magazine that is delivered to me. And those data cannot be searched directly like that we cannot search those contents which are put in a magazine. So I thougt Facebook is just fastion that is very enjoyable for a while, but will soon wear off.
I still log-in and use Facebook, though. It's because they have a good chance of surviving. At my surprise, Facebook seem to attempt to integrate the Web. I'm not secure of its success because it's still friend-friendly, but no doubt that it's obviously splendid try. And, though it's merely a fashion, even people doing important work need to entertain their lighter sides, don't they?
